Now We Are Six
When I was one, I had just begun. When I was two, I was nearly new. When I was three, I was hardly me. When I was four, I was not much more. When I was five, I was just alive. But now I am six, I'm as clever as clever. So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever. Alan Alexander Milne (creador de Winnie the Pooh) Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.Underface
Underneath my outside face There's a face that none can see. A little less smiley, A little less sure, But a whole lot more like me Shel Silverstein Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.To A Squirrel At Kyle-Na-No
Come play with me; Why should you run Through the shaking tree As though I'd a gun To strike you dead? When all I would do Is to scratch your head And let you go. W. B. Yeats Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.Snowball
I made myself a snowball As perfect as could be. I thought I'd keep it as a pet And let it sleep with me. I made it some pajamas And a pillow for its head. Then last night it ran away, But first it wet the bed. Shel Silverstein Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.Doggy Heaven
All doggies go to heaven (or so I've been told). They run and play along the streets of gold. Why is heaven such a doggie-delight? Why, because there's not a single cat in sight! Larry Huggins Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.I'm Nobody! Who are you?
I'm nobody! Who are you? Are you nobody too? Then there's a pair of us! – don't tell! They'd banish us, you know! How dreary to be somebody! How public, like a frog To tell your name the livelong day To an admiring Bog! Emily Dickinson Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.Rain
The rain is raining all around, It falls on field and tree, It rains on the umbrellas here, And on the ships at sea. Robert Louis Stevenson Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.[caption id="attachment_596521" align="aligncenter" width="700"]

Homework Stew
I cooked my math book in a broth and stirred it to a steaming froth. I threw in papers —pencils, too— to make a pot of homework stew. I turned the flame up nice and hot and tossed my binder in the pot. I sprinkled in my book report with colored markers by the quart. Despite its putrid, noxious gas, I proudly took my stew to class. And though the smell was so grotesque, I set it on my teacher’s desk. My teacher said, “You’re quite a chef. But, still, you’re going to get an F. I didn’t ask for ‘homework stew,’ I said, ‘Tomorrow, homework’s due.'” Kenn Nesbitt Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.What is pink?
What is pink? A rose is pink By the fountain's brink. What is red? A poppy's red In its barley bed. What is blue? The sky is blue Where the clouds float through. What is white? A swan is white Sailing in the light. What is yellow? Pears are yellow, Rich and ripe and mellow. What is green? The grass is green, With small flowers between. What is violet? Clouds are violet In the summer twilight. What is orange? Why, an orange, Just an orange! Christina Rossetti Puedes encontrar este poema aquí.Life Doesn't Frighten Me
Shadows on the wall Noises down the hall Life doesn't frighten me at all Bad dogs barking loud Big ghosts in a cloud Life doesn't frighten me at all Mean old Mother Goose Lions on the loose They don't frighten me at all Dragons breathing flame On my counterpane That doesn't frighten me at all. I go boo Make them shoo I make fun Way they run I won't cry So they fly I just smile They go wild Life doesn't frighten me at all. Tough guys fight All alone at night Life doesn't frighten me at all. Panthers in the park Strangers in the dark No, they don't frighten me at all. That new classroom where Boys all pull my hair (Kissy little girls With their hair in curls) They don't frighten me at all. Don't show me frogs and snakes And listen for my scream, If I'm afraid at all It's only in my dreams. I've got a magic charm That I keep up my sleeve I can walk the ocean floor And never have to breathe. Life doesn't frighten me at all Not at all Not at all.
